New Paper about Incarceration and Relationships

We have a new paper at Policy Insights from the Behavioral and Brain Sciences with Erin Hughes and Kaitlin Sheerin. The paper leverages theories and principles to analyze how incarceration affects close relationships through the lens of relationship science. Although people with close relationships fare better during incarceration, the policies in place make it extremely difficult to maintain relationships.
